Join us for the Enid Women in Business Quarterly Series. These events provide an opportunity to learn, promote leadership, gain exposure, and cultivate profitable business connections. This series is the perfect place for women to come together to listen and support other women in business.

This quarter’s topic: Strengths Based Leadership

Have you ever wondered why people follow the leaders they do? For those wanting to become an effective leader, it’s important to understand your natural leadership skills and how to utilize them. Participants will need to complete the Strengths Based Leadership assessment prior to our time together. The assessment and presentation will guide you through the three keys to being a more effective leader: knowing your strengths and investing in others' strengths, getting people with the right strengths on your team, and understanding and meeting the four basic needs of those who look to you for leadership.

Books and assessment codes are available for pick up in the business incubator at Autry Technology Center. Assessment results are due back by February 3, 2016 (send to ccarson@autrytech.edu or drop off to James W. Strate Center for Business Development at Autry Technology Center).

Presenter: Rebecca Eastham, Meridian Technology Center
