Set to take effect on Dec. 1, 2016, new Fair Labor Standards Act guidelines will dramatically change current overtime rules. Join us to learn more about the new Overtime Rule and how it affects you and your business from Jessica Parker, Community Outreach & Resource Planning Specialist with the US Department of Labor Wage & Hour Division.

For some preliminary information about the Rule, you can visit https://www.dol.gov/whd/overtime/final2016/.

Partners include Pioneer Library System, Moore Chamber of Commerce US Department of Labor Wage and Hour Division & REI Women's Business Center.

The workshop will be in Room A/B.  Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U. S. Small Business Administration, WBC’s programs and services are provided on a nondiscriminatory basis.  Reasonable accommodations for persons with disabilities and language assistance services for clients with limited English proficiency will be provided if requested at least two weeks in advance.  Contact Lori Smith, WBC Assistant P.O. Box 1335, Durant, OK 74702 or call 800-658-2823.
