Getting Ready for the HUBZone Application
The Historically Underutilized Business Zones (HUBZone) program helps small businesses in urban and rural communities gain preferential access to federal procurement opportunities.
Join James Ray, Project Director of the MBDA Business Center, to discuss and better understand the application process, eligibility and how the HUBZone Program can help you grow your business. You will learn if you are eligible, the best approach to the application and resources to guide you through the process.
The HUBZone program is designed to promote economic development and employment growth in distressed areas by providing access to more federal contracting opportunities.
The program’s benefits for HUBZone-certified companies include competitive and sole source contracting and the government has a goal of awarding 3% of all dollars for federal prime contacts to HUBZone-certified small business owners. This is a free workshop, sign up today!
