There are those with special or “secret” recipes who would like to package these to sell for others to enjoy. Or there may be an abundance of produce that needs to be packaged before it is no longer consumable. The question may be “How?” or “Where?” There is a process to follow to package food to sell for others’ consumption. This session will cover some of the basic steps of what a beginning food business goes through when developing a product line and what to expect in that process. There are resources to help businesses from start-up to producing to packaging. Find where those resources are and what assistance can be provided.
