Tourism can bring many economic and social benefits in both urban and rural communities. In many communities, tourism has become an important retail development strategy as business and community leaders have recognized the spending potential of visitors, whether they are visiting or passing through town.

Join us for this informative workshop and learn strategies for small businesses to capture tourism dollars in the community. Information will be provided on the economic impact of the tourism industry, promotion tips for increased store traffic from tourists and locals alike, knowing your market and understanding your customer and how the tourism industry can positively affect the small business economy in a community.
